About
Motherhood is not only a personal experience—it is a mythic journey. Across time and culture, the Mother has been revered, silenced, controlled, and nearly erased, and yet her archetype still lives in us, shaping the way we live, love, and mother. In this 9-module course, we’ll explore the Mother archetype in all her forms—nurturer, wild mother, shadow, crone—through myths, fairytales, and ancestral stories. We’ll reflect on the thresholds of motherhood: pregnancy, the calamities of childhood, the empty-nest years, and the rebirth of self. Together, we’ll embrace both shadow and light, tracing our stories through the mythic architecture of motherhood. Through guided writing prompts, dreamwork, shamanic journeying, group reflection, and mythic study, you’ll begin to craft your own memoir as a sacred act of healing, reclamation, and belonging. By the end, you will hold the beginnings of your story—woven from wounds and gifts, memory and myth.
